Come join the party as LEX of Baked by LEX guides you through the process of creating decorated shortbread cookies. Whether you are looking for a new hobby or a fun experience with friends, our beginner events require no previous experience. Your hands-on class will include 2 hours of step-by-step instruction, plus all the materials needed to decorate 6 of the most delicious shortbread cookies you’ve ever tasted! You’ll learn the importance of different icing consistencies, how to use tipless piping bags, the difference of outlining and flooding icing,  wet-on-wet techniques and more. Let us inspire you to create edible art while laughing and learning a new skill that will impress your friends and family!

Before your Private Cookie Party: 

​

Please email Lex to discuss the date, time, location and set up process for your party. We will assist you in choosing the best cookie shapes and icing colors for your party. You will get to choose three (3) cookie shapes and up to (4) colors of royal icing to decorate with. Each guest will receive (2) cookies per shape, for a total of (6) cookies. Additional icing colors, and edible embellishments like wafer paper, royal icing transfers and sprinkles are available for an additional fee.

Day of Your Event: 

​

We will arrive approximately 30-45 minutes before your party start time to set up.  Please provide a well-lit pet-free room, with a large enough table(s) and chairs for everyone in your party to sit comfortably. Each party will start with going over the basics of cookie decorating including how to outline and flood. Guests will get to practice their icing skills before working on their cookies. We will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to decorate your themed cookies. Every guest will receive six (6) 3-4” shortbread cookies with icing, plus recipes, tips and tricks, any tools needed to create the cookies, and a tray to take home their delicious cookies in.

Pricing: 

$350 for up to 10 students. Additional students may be added for $40 each. Cost includes mileage within 12 miles of zip code 89052 Please add $2.00 per mile outside of the 12 miles of zip code 89052. Party must be located in Las Vegas.

Deposit: 

To book your private event, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold your date and time. You may reschedule your party no less than 2 weeks prior to the original event date with no penalty. Rescheduled dates are based on availability
